The TONEX pedal from IK Multimedia is the perfect “amp in a pedal” for your pedalboard. While there are thousands of incredible amp models available for download – many for free – dedicated steel guitar amp models are rare. To my knowledge, my TONEX model of the Peavey Nashville 112 is still one of the only free true steel amp profiles available on tone.net.

- High: 3
- Presence: 6
- Master Gain: 2
I plan to do more TONEX modeling as I learn from experience, trying different mics, signal chains, and capturing techniques.
