The TONEX pedal from IK Multimedia is the perfect “amp in a pedal” for your pedalboard. While there are literally thousands of incredible amp models that can be downloaded (many for free), I have yet to find any dedicated steel amp models. So, I decided to fix that. I may be the very first person, as far as I can tell, to contribute a true steel amp model to IK Multimedia’s www.tone.net platform. - Input: High Gain
- Pre-Gain: 2
- Low: 8
- Mid: -7
- Shift: 750
- High: 3
- Presence: 6
- Master Gain: 2
I plan to do more TONEX modeling as I learn from experience, trying different mics, signal chains, and capturing techniques.
