I’ve already posted about my Peavey Nashville 112 tone model that I’ve added to the tone.net platform, but today I want to share my ’65 Twin Reverb tone model that was dialed in specifically for pedal steel. I created the capture using the exact same process used to capture the Nashville with one very interesting exception: I captured the sound of a virtual ’65 Twin Reverb, not a physical amp. So technically, this is a model of a virtual amp. The virtual amp that I modeled is the “official” Fender ’65 Twin Reverb that is part of Amplitube 5. If you’re a little skeptical, I don’t blame you because I was too. But after trying it out, I think the results speak for themselves. It sounds great, so check it out:
